With effect from 15 February 2009 all drivers and personnel picking up and dropping off cargo are required to wear their safety vests when entering TCD.

Dear valued customer.

It is with great pleasure and pride that we write to inform you that we have received our final BBBEE rating certificate and have achieved an improvement from “Level Five Contributor” to “Level Three Contributor” within the last year. Although a long and costly exercise, we believe it has been well worth it.

Our Enterprise Development saw Thrutainers setting up a black-owned transport company in 2004 which todate employs thirty (30) permanent staff. The de Oliveira Charitable Trust was formed as part of our Social Development initiative. This trust is for the benefit of previously disadvantaged applicants who have a specific education or housing need.

We continue to invest greatly in the training and development of our staff. In addition to various courses our staff have attended, we have sent twelve (12) staff, with potential to be our future managers, on an NQF 3 Supervisory Learnership. The growth and development we have seen in these delegates has been most rewarding.
